The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, also known as BRC Food, is a leading standard for food safety developed by the British Retail Consortium. It certifies that Allround Cargo Handling complies with stringent requirements for food safety systems, including HACCP, quality management, and prerequisite programs.

Pest Control

Protecting cargo from rodents and other pests is a crucial aspect of our operational integrity. Allround Cargo Handling has entrusted the expertise of Suurd Pest Control BV for many years to closely monitor, prevent, and manage pests both inside and outside our warehouses. This collaboration represents yet another crucial element in our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

During the construction of our newest warehouse, we formed a strategic partnership with Suurd Pest Control to implement an advanced Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system. Thanks to this proactive approach, we were able to protect the building from pests from the outset, significantly reducing the risk of contamination. Our ongoing collaboration with Suurd includes the integration of a comprehensive system that systematically keeps mice and other pests at bay, thus safeguarding your valuable cargo from potential damage. This holistic approach to pest control underscores our dedication to providing a safe and hygienic environment for your goods and reinforces our promise of excellence in every aspect of our logistics operations.

Partners and organizations

Allround Cargo Handling is affiliated with the Dutch Dried Fruit Association (NZV), a reputable industry organization that has been representing Dutch traders in nuts, dried fruit, spices, and various processed products such as vegetables, fruits, and fish since 1907.

Our involvement with the NZV provides us with valuable insights into the latest industry information. We stay updated on current developments through weekly newsletters, informative meetings, personal contacts, and networking events. This information enables us to serve you, our valued customer, even better by proactively responding to changes and trends in our sector.

The International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC) is a global organization dedicated to spreading the goodness of nuts and dried fruits worldwide. The INC’s mission is to promote sustainable growth in supply and consumption by highlighting the health benefits of nuts and dried fruits worldwide. This collaboration enables us to stay informed, share knowledge, and establish connections within the industry.

Sustainability is central to the INC’s objectives, and Allround Cargo Handling is committed to supporting the industry in accelerating tangible, measurable, and quantifiable sustainability commitments. Together with the INC, we aim to contribute to a more sustainable future while continuing to provide high-quality services to our valued customers.

Allround Cargo Handling is affiliated with the Dutch organization for forwarding and logistics, called Fenex. Fenex is the advocate for the freight forwarder/logistics service provider in the Netherlands. Fenex’s vision recognizes the changing role of the freight forwarder as an organizer of logistics activities for third parties, driven by digitization, global developments, sustainability, and changes in the labor market.

Fenex’s mission is aimed at creating a business climate in which members and their employees can carry out their activities expertly, efficiently, and under the most favorable conditions. This is achieved through lobbying at national, European, and global levels, in collaboration with global partners such as FIATA and CLECAT.

Allround Cargo Handling has joined Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN), the leading entrepreneurs’ organization for road transport companies and logistics service providers. With 5,000 members, TLN promotes a favorable business climate in the Netherlands and Europe, supporting and connecting entrepreneurs in the transport and logistics sector. TLN serves as a valuable network where entrepreneurs share knowledge and experiences.

Allround Cargo Handling is affiliated with Dutch Fresh Port, a global player in vegetables and fruits and a leading figure in the worldwide AGF logistics sector. Dutch Fresh Port forms a unique AGF cluster, built on the driven entrepreneurship of generations of leaders in Agro-Vers-Food logistics. The entrepreneurs at Dutch Fresh Port stand for continuous innovation, smart collaboration, and sustainable business practices, located near the port of Rotterdam with ample career opportunities.

Within Dutch Fresh Port, Allround Cargo Handling is part of a cluster of companies specializing in the logistics of fresh products, playing a crucial role in the food supply chain. The cluster distinguishes itself through a strong commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and transparency in operations. The layout of the industrial estate is focused on sustainability and future-proofing, with attention to locally generating and utilizing clean energy, sustainable accessibility and mobility, using waste streams as new raw materials, and space for water, greenery, and biodiversity.

Allround Cargo Handling is affiliated with “Rotterdammers voor Rotterdammers” (R4R), a community platform born out of a strong commitment to the city of Rotterdam. As a company with deep roots in Rotterdam, we connect with R4R to contribute to the local community.

MVR, or Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Rotterdam (Socially Responsible Rotterdam), is central to our participation in R4R. As a member and donor of this club, we are committed to social responsibility, with specific focus on sustainability for SMEs. Our joint goal is to promote a prosperous Rotterdam, where entrepreneurs make a positive impact out of their own motivation. By participating in R4R, we share knowledge and collaborate on practical sustainable initiatives.

Breeam – Excellence

Allround Cargo Handling is proud of its BREEAM Excellence certified building. This enables us to measure the actual sustainability performance of our practices and our premises. BREEAM-NL not only provides insight into energy aspects but encompasses the entire sustainability spectrum.

A BREEAM certified building not only stands for sustainability but also for health. Aspects such as indoor climate, ventilation, light, and air quality are carefully considered, resulting in a healthy working environment that promotes the well-being and productivity of the entire Allround Cargo Handling team.

Solar Panels

At Allround Cargo Handling, sustainability is highly valued. Our solar panels generate a total of 2,487,000 KWH, which is equivalent to the electricity consumption of 910 households.
